Weekend and Nightly 24 hour answering for Emergency Situation is provided where a worker must travel ASAP and to provide busing information. Please note this service will not provide other general information. Employers are required to call the CanAg office during buisness hours.

Jamaica, Barbados, St. Lucia, and Antigua via Air Canada Baggage Allowance

BICYCLES:
A fixed handling charge of $50.00 CAD one way applies.  The $20.00 CAD applies if it is a second piece of checked baggage.

TV’S, STEREOS

Must be in the original box and packaging.
Must be within the acceptable baggage size and weight.  The $20.00 CAD applies if it is a second piece of checked baggage.

CARRY ON BAGGAGE:
Not to exceed 9” (23cm) by 15.5” (40cm) by 21.5” (55cm) and 22lbs. (10kgs) in weight.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:
Two (2) bags with the sum of the total dimensions not to exceed 62” (158cm) each and not weighing more that 50lbs. (23kgs) each. If the allowable bag is oversized a charge of $100.00 CAD will apply. If the allowable bag is overweight a charge of $100.00 CAD will appy. If a bag is both oversized and overweight a $100.00 CAD will be applied only once.

SECOND BAG is not to exceed 62" (158 cm) and not weighing more than 50 lbs (23kgs).  If second bag is oversized or overweight the rules above apply.

EXCESS BAGGAGE RATE:

For each excess bag a charge of $225.00 CAD will be applied. Please note no excess baggage or oversize items will be accepted between July 1st and December 31st.

ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED:

Any bag weighing over 70lbs. (32kgs) will not be accepted. Passenger can re-pack or send as cargo. Bags that exceed aircraft size limitation must go as cargo (check with airline).

 

Note: Common Items that CANNOT be checked-in or carried on an aircraft include: cooking oil, bleach, propane cylinders, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, paint, paint thinner, drain cleaners, inflated balls, poisons.

The airlines will refuse to carry any gasoline motor such as a chain saw, even if the gas tank has been drained. Travelers are not allowed to pack weapons, tools, scissors or toy guns in carry-on luggage and cannot travel with any possible materials that are oxidizing, toxic, radioactive, infectious, corrosive or magnetized. NO plants, flowers or seeds of any kind.

CARRY ON BAGGAGE:
Not to exceed 22lbs. (10kgs) in weight, with a maximum dimension of 45" (h + l + w) including wheels/handles/expandable pockets. Must be able to fit under the seat or in overhead compartment.  In addition, one laptop bag or handbag or briefcase with a maximum dimensions 36" (91 cm).  Excess carry-on baggage is not allowed.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:
Two (2) bags with the sum of the total dimensions not to exceed 62” (158cm) each and not weighing more then 50lbs. (23kg) each. If one allowed bag is between 51-70 lbs. a charge of $82.00 CAD will be applied. NO BAGGAGE OVER 70lbs. OR EXCEEDING 62” WILL BE ACCEPTED.

EXCESS BAGGAGE RATE:

For each excess bag that is within the acceptable size and weight a charge of $163.00 CAD will be applied.  For each excess bag that is 51-70lbs. a charge of $245.00 CAD will be applied. Excess baggage is taken on a stand-by basis.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:
One (1) bag with the sum of the total dimensions not to exceed 62” (158cm) not weighing more that 50lbs. (23kgs).

 

EXCESS BAGGAGE:
Will be tagged as stand-by and will be accepted only on a space available basis and are subject to excess baggage charges.

EXCESS BAGGAGE CHARGES:
For bags betwen 51-70 lbs a charge of $40.00 USD will apply.  For bags exceeding total dimensions of 62" (153cm) a charge of $60.00 USD will apply.  FOr each additional bag 50 lbs and under a charge of $60.00 USD will apply.  For each additional bag 50-70 lbs a charge of $80.00 USD will apply.
